Gabriel and his sister Joanna are promising young adults, thriving as best they can in a busy city. After losing their mother, they have adapted to being on their own and not relying on their father. He had been a hustler and a drifter, usually creating more problems than good. In spite of this, Gabe and Joanna were resilient. They have handled their affairs well, despite any drama their father unintentionally brought their way. However, this time, something more serious has occurred. It has caused them to make a choice they had never considered before: running. It seemed like a good idea at first. Yet, in their efforts to find safety, they found something much more sinister than what they left behind. Surviving through the consequences of their choice is their only goal.
Living in a technologically advanced world, Lincoln and Alannah's lives as a couple were once great. While they were once in love, they seemed to be living on a cloud and enjoying all their union offered. Nothing could separate them or keep them from growing closer to each other.
