The need of additional trained manpower and back bone systems are also a challenge in these methods. As there are several advantages for fiber optics-based communication systems, the study proposes a method of multichannel transmission of sensor data through fiber optic communication system. As a part of the simulation study, it also analyses the results with and without EDFA optical booster. Sensor data plays a major role in many conventional and emerging fields of technologies -weather prediction, natural calamity (like flood, land sliding) prediction and warning systems, home automation, fire alarms, IoT etc. are a few to name. So, the proper handling of sensor data is a challenge which can be addressed through innovative methods. One of the many challenges that may need to be addressed is the transmission of sensor data from the site to analysis station located at a distance. The conventional methods of using Wi-Fi systems/drones may not be feasible with all weather conditions and demographic terrains.
A free-running frequency standard drift with time and move away from its nominal value. To make a stable frequency standard it needs to trace a reference standard. A GNSS disciplined oscillator is one of the media for reference to a free-running frequency standard is used. The frequency standard may be disciplined directly to a reference standard or a GNSS system in the co-located. In this work, the free running frequency standards are reference standard (UTC (NPLI) timescale) and are co-located. Therefore, the free running frequency standard is locked to the timescale and makes the free standard a NPLI disciplined system. The frequency and time stability have been measured for the free running and locked rubidium frequency standard. The stability improved in the locked rubidium frequency standard.
This book on ¿Study of opto-electronic properties of ternary chalcopyrite and binary solids¿ is primarily intended for students preparing for Ph. D. degree examination. The book has been divided into eight chapters including the topics on basic theory of ioni8city and its related properties. we hope that this book will be found useful by the students and teachers in the various institutions. We will appreciate any suggestions for improvement of the book.
