Bobby Butts is a squirrel who lost his tail in an automobile accident. When he returns to his tree-nest, he discovers that the tree where his nest was located has been cut down. His best friend, Mr. Crow, comes to his aid and helps him prepare a new home. Bobby helps Mr. Crow one day with some food he discovers. The two teach us lessons in caring and how everyone can learn to get along in life.
