Le Coeur à gaz est une pièce de théâtre de langue française par l'auteur Tristan Tzara, écrit comme une parodie du théâtre classique. Organisée à Paris en 1921 à la Galerie Montaigne, elle est l'une des pièces les plus reconnaissables inspirés par la tendance anticonformiste connue comme le dadaïsme. Le texte de cette édition comprend une traduction en anglais en plus des poèmes et des écrits d'artistes influencés par Tzara. Le Coeur à gaz (The Gas-Operated Heart) is a play in French by Tristan Tzara, written as a parody of classical theater. Performed amidst protest and anarchy in Paris in 1921 at the Galerie Montaigne, it is one of the most recognizable theatre pieces inspired by the iconoclastic poetry movement known as Dada. The original text of this edition includes an English translation of the play in addition to poems and writings of the surrealist artists influenced by Tzara.
Tender Buttons: objects, food, rooms is the title of a 1914 book by Gertrude Stein consisting of word clusters chosen for their prosody, juxtaposed for the purpose of subverting commonplace dictionary meanings which Stein believed had largely lost their expressive force and ability to communicate. The words were re-defined using both their etymology and analysis of syllables by themselves.
