He is an active member of the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) and served on the Photography Advisory Council for the J. Paul Getty Museum. Additionally he serves as an advisor to The Herb Ritts FoundationPreface writer Peter Wise's work is found in various public and private collections, including Mead Art Gallery, Amherst College, Estee Lauder Corporate Collection, and The Andy Warhol Museum. Wise and Christopher Makos founded the Makos Archive; he has served as its Director since 2000.Ryan Murphy currently working on an Andy Warhol documentary set to release on Netflix in Fall 2022.
