The first recorded use of pharmaceuticals was recorded in ancient Egypt, but herbs were used even in caveman days. The art of Apothecary dates back to ancient Babylonia, 2600BC. The first drug store was established by the Arabs in Baghdad. After reading a lot about pharma both historic and present day, I wondered if we are any better off than when the ancient pill pushers were preparing and dispensing pills and serums. All medicines can either cure or kill you depending on the people who prescribe and the people who dispense. Having said all this meet Dr. Heinz MD and Dr. L. R. Scuderi, pharmacist, two characters in my new book The PI and the Pill Pusher. It will make you want to examine closely that bottle pills you pick up at your nearby drug store. Many years ago, I was given pills that were not what was prescribed for me, and they made me very sick. Shortly after that I bought a PDR that has most pharma in it with pictures. I never took another pill without looking it up.My book is the story of a corrupt medical clinic. It is full of action, humor and is thought-provoking and believable thanks to my two pharmacist friends. Thus far I believe it's one of the fastest moving with the liveliest characters out of all 50 of the books that I've written thus far.
When I asked people if they knew about Indentured Servants, more than half said they did not. Maybe they were absent from school the day they taught that. There again maybe their school didn't teach history. I was shocked when I found out that many don't teach American history today. Anyway when I found out that 'indentured servants' are still being sold in this country, I had to write the story. Thus, my newest Team Project series book called The Indentured Servant Project is now available. Many of the events in the book were based on real life accounts (unfortunately).Even though indentured servitude was declared illegal in 1917, the whole indentured servant practice is alive and very active today. This book uses what's going on with the help of the Irish Catholic churches where young Irish girls are still being sold. Today we call it human trafficking. As with all the Team Project books, it is full of mystery, intrigue, romantic moments, lots of humor and tender tear jerking occasions as well as filled with well researched facts. The team again takes on a project that enables them to pay it forward in their usual enthusiastic manner. Join us in this fast action filled adventure.
The Trans-Humanoids ProjectWeren't most of us old enough to remember and were fascinated with the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman. I so wanted her bionics. So much has happened in the world in technology that it is impossible to keep up.Team Project is in action again in this new and final book in the Team Project series. In my opinion as the author, I think that it's the best one. It is a psychological thriller, a murder mystery, a story of love on all levels and a story of friendship and hope.Is our government actually buying spies who are trans-humanoids. We know about the Stepford wives. A thought, why were there never Stepford husbands or were there? Just a thought. The Team at work again is paying it forward when they help families whose mothers, daughters and wives mysteriously come home completely changed after spending a month at an exclusive health spa in Arizona.Enjoy the twists and turns of this action packed adventure with Team Project. It will have you holding your breath and sighing deeply as you eagerly turn the pages. Also, I dare anyone to read the last two chapters without having happy tears making furrows down their cheeks. If you haven't read the other Team Project books Give them a read as well. Each is a stand-alone book, but are fun to read book one through 5, too.

What makes humans become clock watchers? After some investigating, we found that it is fear. Fear of the present and what's happening NOW. We watch the second hand click around in hopes that after a certain amount of clicks that there will be something better and the fear will be put on a shelf in our mind until the next time that a fear invades. Then we will watch the clock again.Maybe it was the old adage that time heals everything that caused us to become clock watchers. The main character of the book, The Clock Watcher, James Scott learned at an early age that watching the school room clock helped him to forget his fear of writing. Having an over-abundance of fears, he used his clock watching skills to make life bearable. With the help of his sister, Liz, he learns that fears don't go away with the ticks of a clock. Through an adventure of finding out what happened to his best friend and who murdered their father, Jimmy grows into a self-confident young man who doesn't need a clock or at least not as much. This story, The Clock Watcher is full of action, thought-provoking moments, tender heart retching feelings of overcoming loss and uplifting tears of joy during times of emotional highs. Have you ever been on a cruise? Probably not the two-week kind the FBI and DEA undercover team went on. The name of the cruise, which was Lust on the Sea should give you a hint that it was not a Disney or family oriented type of cruise.Could this pleasure cruise be a front for more than simply a singles cruise. After reading the book Lust on the Sea, it may make many of you consider a different type of vacation in the future. One that doesn't include stops at an island called Hedone, which is associated with the Greek god of sensual pleasure. Sex folks, which the ancient Greeks personified. The third book in the Molly McGuire mystery thriller is again action filled laced with Molly's humor. She will have you laughing and crying the next at some tender moments in the story.Lust on the Sea is categorized as fiction, but unfortunately the story could be all too real. As you read the final book in this series, let us all applaud the many men and women whose job it is to work undercover to help bring justice to our chaotic and often lawless world.
