These poems evoke a concentrated imaginative awareness of an experience, a specific emotional response leading to rhythmical cadences with internal alliteration and repetitions through an arranged meaningful nonsensical literation.
The fifth book of one hundred poems 401 to 500 from four books in the series "Colours of Poetry".Not only does this book contain poetry it also has colour photographs of my original art. Though these paintings are unconnected to the poems they are an extension of a continuing thought process of abstract communication in the arts. They are a visual poetry of colours and marks to be also read with your inner eye in order to open your mind and see the world from my point of view.
From the high tower of the Pristine Palace, Adept-King Paulard unleashes a supernatural plague upon his dwarven neighbors in the WarAxe Commons as Seers from the Elemental Island warn of an imminent cosmic disaster. Meanwhile the brutal realities of a seemingly unstoppable magical sickness decimate the Kingdom of Kandor. As barbarous marauders, seemingly immune to the plague, ravage the remnants of the WarAxe Commons, elite warriors seek answers against an enemy they can't fight as the world they know crumbles around them. They seek answers that only the Plague Broker can provide. And though regarded as a danger to the Kingdom, he may just have a key to its survival.
Thirty new poems in this book 'Right Here Write Now' in the 'Colours of Poetry' series with the addition of colour acrylic paintings from the 'Talking Heads' collection. We constantly think as we all do with words in our heads with conflicting random thoughts and ideas. It's no wonder we get confused, misled, and misread the words written down, though they are there to entertain, to remind us of what we are and who we are. These poems are just that, "Right Here Write Now". September 6th 2022
Coming up with the reason I write and in what circumstances is perplexing, even to me. These poems stand as statements of my time, even from a very early age. The first poem in this collection is the only one I found from the 1960's in my George Best football boots box. When I read these works, I hardly recognise myself and wonder what influenced me. Though, just sometimes, I do recall the sequence of events leading to their composition. All of them are written very quickly and once down I spend little time refining them, in most cases not, otherwise the feeling and energy are lost.
