Places and Spaces is a compilation of thirty years of writing poetry. I started journalingas a teenager and many years later, the poems emerged. When I decided to share them manyyears later, the idea was hatched to see if I could get the poems published. So here it goes!The book is divided into five sections---Spirit, Nature, Aging, Family and Other. This has allowedme to write about people and things I met on my journey through life. I drew inspiration fromwork, reading, my backyard, our animals, other people and nature. The poems may make youlaugh or cry, touch you with love and caring or fear and pain. Most of the poems are rooted inspirituality and are an expression of my faith.I hope you find as much comfort in reading the poems as I had in writing them.
