In the far future a machine is built that can produce clones of mythological creatures over and over again. The dwarves, elves, orcs, goblins and other creatures of myth were never meant to reproduce, or grow larger, but they did! Terren Foe is sent to the surface of the world, Terra Verte. to meet the Queen of Caelum and with her help capture the Children of the Myth Machine slaver, Thrain. Foe also has another task, one that must be done discreetly; one that could prove not all life originated on planet Earth.

Terren Foe is sent to the planet Terra Verte to capture the notorious Children of the Myth slaver, Thrain, and to accomplish a devious task. He is ordered to do exactly what the Queen of Caelum tells him to do as she helps him find Thrain. However, on the planet Terra Verte, machinery won't work, and slavers on the world Sierra, made Terren half machine. As he follows the Queen through dangerous lands his mechanical left side becomes useless. He also discovers the Queen is looking for Thrain for her own reasons.

A strange occurrence happens in the city of Cambridge, Ontario. A girl arrested for stealing a football jersey is locked up overnight at the local police station but in the morning the police find a teenage boy in the cell instead. Other strange happenings occur and RCMP Captain Lucy Lightning is called in to solve the secret of the Snivel Chair!
