Mathematical Logic: An Introduction is a textbook that uses mathematical tools to investigate mathematics itself. In particular, the concepts of proof and truth are examined. The book presents the fundamental topics in mathematical logic and presents clear and complete proofs throughout the text. Such proofs are used to develop the language of propositional logic and the language of first-order logic, including the notion of a formal deduction. The text also covers Tarski's definition of truth and the computability concept. It also provides coherent proofs of Godel's completeness and incompleteness theorems. Moreover, the text was written with the student in mind and thus, it provides an accessible introduction to mathematical logic. In particular, the text explicitly shows the reader how to prove the basic theorems and presents detailed proofs throughout the book. Most undergraduate books on mathematical logic are written for a reader who is well-versed in logical notation and mathematical proof. This textbook is written to attract a wider audience, including students who are not yet experts in the art of mathematical proof.
Balthasar and Erin are now aware of the task they have as the Mark Bearers; unite all of Graux and its people against the forces of Azoth. Of course, this task is far easier said than done. Both must separate from one another and go into unfamiliar territory; not only to master their abilities, but to gain the trust of families they never knew they had.But Amelia Bathory, the Scarlet Diamond, is determined to stop them and their allies with unparalleled brutality. With her allies, Lord Conroy of Glendor risks falling to madness, and Queen Elia of Dwyer is forced to confront the horrifying mistakes she made. All of this, while elderly Professor Thomas discovers vital information key to aiding Balthasar and Erin in their task for uniting Graux. But Bathory, no matter what, will break them all, much like she and her allies broke this world...

Written in an accessible manner, this book provides an introduction to Social Network Analysis (SNA), presenting tools and concepts, and showing how SNA can inform the crafting of a wide array of strategies for the tracking and disrupting of dark networks (illegal and covert networks that analysts must track, identify, and dismantle).
