What are my American Lessons? Why do I want to share them with you? I intended to write a book called "My American Dream." Yet even though I have achieved some of that dream during my life, the dream has become increasingly anachronistic, akin to how we romanticize or fantasize "the good old days," which we can never truly attain. The concept of "American Lessons" or "The New American Dream" may be more valuable to those who understand they must be well-prepared to get ahead in this extremely challenging world. The definition of "reality" is not what one thinks the world ought to be or what one wishes it will be, but rather what it is. In this book, you will examine with me some thought-provoking topics on sociopolitical issues that we are still struggling to comprehend. Often, these contentious ideologies divide the nation and hinder social progress.In this book, I share with you the lessons I have learned through my experiences, observations, and conversations with not only my American friends, but friends from other parts of the world, too. The artist used computer programs as a tool to transform, mix and blend his original paintings with photographs to create a new style which is a departure from his former works.
