This is a philosophy book. It's my attempt to understand reality.I wanted to understand why an electron had a point charge. How it could produce Electrical and Magnetic Fields. To understand gravity and how it could bend space and time. To know if I had a soul and if I existed beyond death. To know if God was real and why there's discord and conflict in civilization. I understand that the simple, honest, humble, hardworking, loving people are the ones God wants. He's against conceitedness, selfishness, deceptiveness and aggressiveness. For I think this is the book described in chapter 10 of the book of Revelation in the Christian Bible. And the Christians are not going to be very pleased about it either. Neither are the new age spiritualists, nor the scientist for this book is a challenge to all of them. What is truth and what is tradition? Do we just go through the motions of what's expected of us? The book is arranged in two parts. Part one deals with my earliest childhood memories up to my retirement from the daily routine in the education system. Part two deals with the broader picture with a survey of Oldham and its transport; it also covers a number of events which have occurred in the town during my lifetime.
