The world as we know it has changed. Creatures once thought of as myth now hunt the streets. Two ancient evils must confront their destiny. For a thousand years, one man, D.D. Denham, has secretly controlled a hidden culture with a drug called Red-Rain. A drug so potent, it suppresses an ancient and instinctive desire to kill. When a new enemy's attack leaves many dead and him vulnerable, he's left with only one option. A deal is made with a ruthless killer and his group of hunters to bring the usurper down. With allies and enemies emerging from the unlikeliest of places, and double-crosses on all sides, time is running out as their final confrontation and ultimate fate looms ever closer.
