A selection of original poems to encourage, inspire and fuel people's desire to live with hope.
The first publication of Roxanne's Story (published in 2015) ended with her disappearance from an abandoned plantation in Louisiana where she and her small group of survivors had taken refuge for the winter during the Zombie Apocalypse. A search was made by her lover Lucky, her friend Brandon and pilot of the riverboat Jenny, and her faithful dog Mutt who had been her companion since the beginning of the second year of the zombie apocalypse. The search was abandoned as they ventured further into the bayou and knew that they were out of their element and could easily become lost. Volume II begins with their return to the plantation without Roxanne and to report their findings to the rest of the group. This is the story of Roxanne's survival in the bayou and the strengths she learns from her mentor, a voodoo medicine woman. If you have not read the first publication of Roxanne's Story during her travels, her attempts to secure a safe haven, her battles against both the dead and human dangers you will still enjoy Volume II. But you may not understand her attitude, her change in character and the core of her decision making process as compared to who she was before her abduction. Volume II is my favorite journey by Roxanne. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
This is the story of Roxanne, a beautiful woman traveling with her husband in an attempt to survive a Zombie Apocalypse. After a horrible winter she realized that not only is her husband a coward but he had put her in danger several times. Chapter One begins the suspense as "Roxanne was going to kill her husband." Follow Roxanne in her travels through the southern United States, the people she meets and the hardships she must endure. Watch her grow as an independent survivor, falter and rebuild again, but is she the same Roxanne? This is the first of two publications of Roxanne's journey. Vol II takes place in the bayou of Louisiana.
As before, a selection of typical examination questions is presented, together with suggested answers, but additional questions have now been provided in each subject area. Questions and answers are arranged separately in subject areas, with a chapter devoted to each.
...a valuable contribution to the education of the surveying profession and fills a gap in the market. It will prove invaluable to part-time or external students who do no have the benefit of regular face-to-face contact with teaching staff.' Nick French, Journal of Property Valuation & Investment
