For whom is this book intended?Sacred Journey II picks up where the first edition leaves you on a ledge wanting more. The journey into the Sacred Journey of the Bible is wonderfully and clearlyt laid out, that from the novice to the serious bible student, no one is left in the shadow of this wonderful topic. Are you curious about the mysteries of the Godhead? Have you felt ill-equipped to explain or defend some deep truths about the Godhead? Then this book is intended for you. This small volume contains uncommon knowledge about the mysteries of Godhead. New knowledge? No recovered knowledge! My purpose for this volume originates from a personal desire to restore re-discovered forgotten truths about the Godhead drawn from ancient interpretive understandings of scripture, especially those concerning Messiah. It is a book for those who want more concrete evidence to support their own beliefs and provide a strong defense for the foundations of their Biblical faith. If you have had doubts about the constancy and unity of truth to be found within the Old and New Testaments concerning the Godhead and other related truths, this book is for you. If you are a Bible teacher and are looking for a clear way of presenting the Godhead to your students, this book is for you. If you have yet to be introduced to or convinced of this truth statement, ''The Old Testament is the foundation for all of Jesus'' and His Disciples'' theology'', then this book is for you.Modern Biblical Study is about ''recovery and reclamation'' as much as it is about ''revelation''. Some especially important methods of interpretation that are demonstrated within scripture, along with reclaimed and well-established interpretations, had been forgotten and therefore neglected. This volume does not make a claim to have recovered everything, but it makes a sincere attempt to share what has been rediscovered by both Jewish and Gentile believers.
Is it possible to ask some seemingly deep and complex questions about the revelations of the Bible and be given answers that remove the mysteries and prove the Bible to be trustworthy?Whether they are questions pertaining to the origin of life, or to the nature of God, or man''s relationship to God, can we dare to ask some hard questions and trust the answers to be true? The world asks questions at times seemingly destroying what we believe the Bible declares to be true, and leaves us wondering with Pilate "what is truth?" If the Bible has answers that will strengthen our convictions and move us into a deeper relationship with God, wouldn''t it be helpful if we knew them? What if we can find extra-biblical sources within the sciences that support the claims made about the content of scripture, wouldn''t this be worth knowing? When I refer to a Sacred Journey, I''m not referring to a religious pilgrimage. A religious pilgrimage is very much centered upon the destination more than the journey. Sacred Journeys are those endeavors that involve one or more individuals who are singularly and jointly focused upon a unified discovery of their spiritual purpose and destiny. It is "sacred" because it involves divine knowledge as well as divine outcomes. It is a "journey" because it involves and embraces movement and change and it can occupy the entirety of our lives to pursue.Sacred Journeys are not measured by mile markers, nor are they to be considered as a collection of accumulated experiences. Certainly, time is a factor, and along the journey, there will be memorable experiences, but what makes it "sacred" is its proximity to a knowledge of the divine. The journey will include an exposure to religious literature. It will ponder moral standards. It will include an examination of social and cultural structures. It will ask questions for the purpose of discovering truth. When I refer to a Sacred Journey, I''m not referring to a religious pilgrimage.
