Chip and Skip have only just returned from their second time-travelling adventure and already they've plunged head-first into the next one. And while the magic glasses may have sent them over 100 years into the past, their destination seems strangely familiar. Still, with a little girl in danger, a wicked aunt and missing parents, the time travellers are soon fighting to save not only their new friends, but themselves as well. Will they succeed, or this time have they taken on too much?

It's been months since Chip and Skip's first time-travelling adventure and the mysterious glasses they found in the attic of their new home - and which make it all possible - seem to have stopped working. But Chip gives them one last try and finds herself spiralling back through time to 1940s' London and the Second World War. Evacuated with hundreds of other children to the safety of the countryside, Chip can only hope Skip will find her. Because with a secret cave, German spies and a new friend in mortal danger, she needs all the help she can get...

Chip and Skip love the big old house they have just moved into with their parents, and seem set for adventure when they find a mysterious treasure chest in the attic. Hidden in the corner of the chest is a bag, which contains two pairs of glasses with tiny dials. When they put them on and turn those dials they are catapulted back in time to 1912, and find themselves trapped aboard the doomed Titanic with a quest to fulfil. But time is running out! Will they be able to solve the mystery - and make it home - before the ship sinks?
