S. 1, and other poetry of history, 10048 does more than tell the story of the construction and destruction of the Twin Towers, it celebrates their place in American culture. It is OUR 9/11 book. Edward A. Dougherty was a volunteer at a peace center in Hiroshima, Japan, and has been granted the SUNY Chancellor's award in Scholarship and Creative Activity.

Presents the statistical analysis of morphological filters and their automatic optical design, the development of morphological features for image signatures, and the design of efficient morphological algorithms. This work extends the morphological paradigm to include other branches of science and mathematics.
