Goldilocks goes to medical school to become a doctor and opens her office. The Three Bears come to see her because they do not feel well. Dr. Goldilocks examines Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear to find out if they have problems with their thyroid glands.

Baby Bear does not feel well. She is losing weight, feeling tired, drinking a lot of water, and going to the bathroom a lot. She goes to Dr. Goldilocks who examines her and determines that she has diabetes. Dr. Goldilocks teaches her how to take insulin and how to monitor her blood sugars, so that she can do all the activities of other bears her age.This book by Edward Gale Movius, MD, FACP, FACE, describes the symptoms, diagnostic tests, and treatment of diabetes. Dr. Movius graduated from the School of Medicine, University of California, San Diego, and completed a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the National Institutes of Health. He has treated diabetes, thyroid, and endocrine patients for over forty years.
