The research shows that the field lesson is a tool that facilitates learning in Geography teaching, as it brings the student closer to the object being studied. The student will be able to identify in everyday life what has been seen in textbooks, providing better learning and awakening in the student a critical sense of the subject. As for the methodology, a qualitative and quantitative approach was adopted. Bibliographical research and a description of the reality of the field school were used as methodological tools. This study was developed through the experiences and observations of 7th grade geography classes at Colégio João Silva in Imperatriz-Ma. The aim of this work is to analyze how practical lessons can contribute to the teaching-learning process in geography. The results obtained show that students and teachers understand the importance of field activities in the teaching process, but there is little incentive to develop them, and that it is necessary for both teachers and the school to rethink their pedagogical approach to this need.

Il corretto smaltimento dei rifiuti provenienti da varie attività umane è una sfida importante per la società. La presente ricerca analizza pertanto le prestazioni della gestione dei rifiuti solidi nel comune di Imperatriz nel 2016 e nel 2017. A tal fine, è stata inizialmente condotta un'indagine bibliografica, seguita da una ricerca sul campo presso il Dipartimento municipale delle Infrastrutture, dei Trasporti e dei Servizi Pubblici di Imperatriz-MA, analizzando i registri della raccolta manuale e del trasporto dei rifiuti domestici, commerciali, dello spazzamento e della potatura degli alberi, nonché dello smaltimento finale dei rifiuti nel 2016 e nel 2017, al fine di comprendere come si è sviluppata la gestione dei rifiuti solidi e i problemi affrontati. Dai dati ottenuti è emerso che, pur trattandosi di amministrazioni diverse, la movimentazione, la raccolta e lo smaltimento finale dei rifiuti nel periodo studiato non hanno mostrato cambiamenti significativi, tuttavia l'attuale amministrazione si distingue per l'interesse a realizzare la Discarica Sanitaria di Imperatriz; il progetto di costruzione di quest'opera è stato sbloccato dopo l'esecuzione del Piano Comunale di Gestione Integrata dei Rifiuti Solidi Urbani - PMGIRS, 2018, che consentirà di estinguere la discarica.

This research addresses the issue of the environment, health and quality of life, with an emphasis on the public water supply in the Vila Vitória neighborhood in Imperatriz - MA. The main objective of the research is to analyze the quality of the water offered to the population of the Vila Vitória neighborhood, as well as to identify the reasons why residents do not have water in their taps throughout the day. In order to carry out the study, a bibliographical and documentary review was carried out with authors and laws that deal with the subject, and the hypothetical deductive method with a qualitative and quantitative approach was applied in the development of the research. In the field research, samples of the water distributed to the population were collected for microbiological and bacteriological analysis. Questionnaires were also administered to the residents of the Vila Vitória neighborhood, as well as to the person responsible for handling the well and the Secretariat of Agriculture of Imperatriz - MA. The results of the analysis showed that the water is suitable for consumption, but the deficit in the public supply harms the quality of life of the neighborhood's population, a fact proven by the answers obtained in the questionnaires applied to the interviewees.

Water is a natural resource that is essential for human survival and has become an asset of high social and economic value. In João Lisboa over the years there have been several problems related to the consumption and waste of water resources arising from the activities carried out by car washes in the city's urban perimeter. Thus, this study aimed to analyze car washes and their environmental impacts in the urban area of João Lisboa-MA. A qualitative, quantitative, descriptive and field approach was used, with the aim of proposing a treatment method and analyzing the feasibility of setting up a car wash with water treatment and reuse. Water was also collected for laboratory analysis to identify four elements: cadmium, copper, iron and chunbo. As a result, a large amount of waste and water contamination by these car washes was noted. Within the scope of environmental management, it is essential to integrate the public and private sectors in order to promote awareness, rights and duties of the company within the proposed legal aspects, as well as promoting the best use of water resources.

The proper disposal of waste from various human activities is a major challenge for society. This research therefore investigates the performance of solid waste management in the municipality of Imperatriz in 2016 and 2017. To this end, a bibliographic survey was initially carried out, followed by field research at the Municipal Department of Infrastructure, Transportation and Public Services of Imperatriz-MA, with analysis of the records of manual collection and transportation of household, commercial, sweeping and tree pruning waste, and final disposal of waste in the years 2016 and 2017, in order to understand how solid waste management developed and the problems faced. The data obtained showed that although they are different administrations, the handling, collection and final disposal of waste in the period studied did not show significant changes, however the current administration stands out for its interest in setting up the Sanitary Landfill in Imperatriz, the construction project for this work was released after the execution of the Municipal Plan for Integrated Solid Waste Management - PMGIRS, 2018, which will enable the dump to be extinguished.

L'élimination appropriée des déchets provenant de diverses activités humaines est un défi majeur pour la société. Cette recherche porte donc sur la performance de la gestion des déchets solides dans la municipalité d'Imperatriz en 2016 et 2017. À cette fin, une enquête bibliographique a été réalisée dans un premier temps, suivie d'une recherche sur le terrain au département municipal des infrastructures, des transports et des services publics d'Imperatriz-MA, analysant les registres de collecte manuelle et de transport des déchets ménagers, commerciaux, de balayage et d'élagage des arbres, ainsi que l'élimination finale des déchets en 2016 et 2017, afin de comprendre comment la gestion des déchets solides s'est développée et quels sont les problèmes rencontrés. Les données obtenues ont montré que, bien qu'il s'agisse d'administrations différentes, le traitement, la collecte et l'élimination finale des déchets au cours de la période étudiée n'ont pas montré de changements significatifs, mais l'administration actuelle se distingue par son intérêt pour la mise en place de la décharge sanitaire à Imperatriz, le projet de construction de cette ¿uvre a été libéré après l'exécution du Plan municipal de gestion intégrée des déchets solides - PMGIRS, 2018, ce qui permettra d'éteindre la décharge.
