Since the appearance of man on this planet, the struggles between them were part of their work and in the historical development of mankind, despite bringing with it destruction, desolation and death. We have observed in history how man has reached the point of total destruction and annihilation of his own species, a fact that has been the subject of study and was called Total War, in this work we will analyze the different ideological and philosophical conceptions of such concept. In another order of ideas, and in the study of the different struggles for power, territory, injustice, among others, we observe how the most vulnerable parties have developed a type of war that has been able in one way or another to fight that giant, from the time of Goliath until today, facts that have been mutating, and it is there the main point of study as the second point in this work, called the polyformism of the revolutionary war.

Desde la aparición del hombre en este planeta, las luchas entre ellos fueron parte de su quehacer y en el desarrollo histórico de la humanidad, a pesar de traer ella consigo destrucción, desolación y muerte. Hemos observado en la historia como el hombre ha llegado al punto de la total destrucción y aniquilación de su propia especie, hecho que ha sido objeto de estudio y fue denominada Guerra total, en este trabajo analizaremos las diferentes concepciones ideológicas y filosóficas de tal concepto. En otro orden de ideas, y en el estudio de las diferentes luchas de por poder, territorio, injusticia, entre otras, observamos como las partes más vulnerables han desarrollado un tipo de guerra que ha podido de una u otra forma combatir a ese gigante, desde la época de Goliat hasta nuestros días, hechos que han venido mutando, y es allí el punto principal de estudio como segundo punto en este trabajo, denominado el poliformismo de la guerra revolucionaria.
