Immediate post evacuation also needs to be considered by the Company for receiving people at the point of safety overseas. Additional planning must also consider the welfare of local staff who will not be evacuated. They still need to be paid. The decision to evacuate must not be taken lightly. The Company¿s reputation with its expatriate staff, local staff and host government on the Company's return will be impacted to a degree.
