As a progeny from you, I would like to personally thank our black sistas, black mothers and black leaders for raising us in a society which has been constant attempt to separate and marginalize our lives, cultures and livelihoods. Although, we may not see eye-to-eye sometimes, we, black men, are more than ever greatly in need of your support, softness and advice in survival of these hellish times.
