Often we know exactly what we want from God. We come to him with a list that keeps scrolling down our screens, and when he doesn't answer in a time frame that pleases us, we get frustrated. However, the real question should be, "What does God want from us?" He does have something he wants from us. It's not a great cathedral or a life spent on the mission field. When our children tug at our hearts, we want to give them everything they desire. We are God's children, and he feels the same about us. Let's lift our arms in praise, and he will reach his hands down to us. It works every time. Just try it.

Walking with Jesus is all about our relationship with him. Sharing our faith with the world is all about our relationship with others. God's Word tells us we cannot maintain a proper relationship with the Father if we do not maintain a proper relationship with our brothers in Christ. Repentance is not a one-time thing. It is an ongoing process. Why? We are frail flesh, and until we are changed in the twinkling of an eye to become like him, perfection is beyond our reach. When we walk with Jesus, we are of the kingdom of God, but we are also in the kingdom of God. To put it simply, God's kingdom is all around us all the time. Even for the unchurched and those who have fallen away, there is no way to get away from the kingdom. It touches every part of our lives. Remember that first drawing toward Christ when we did not yet know him? That happened through the kingdom. God's hand reached to us through the majesty of his created realm, and he made his love known to us. That's the kingdom of God. When we sense his love towards us, we have experienced his kingdom. That feeling is for the churched and unchurched alike. When we choose to walk with him, we move to a different level. We walk in our salvation, and that's for those who know Christ personally. God's kingdom is our springboard, leading us into what he desires for us to become. Let's leap into him. He's holding his arms out waiting, for he loves us very much.

God has a sense of humor. If we doubt that, then we've lost out on the most incredible revelations in our natural world.
