This book is related to biomass energy responds to the official program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the part of renewable energy in Algeria. It is intended for LMD students in the Science and Technology field of the University of Biskra in the Mechanical Engineering Department. It is an introduction to biomass energy for mechanical engineering students. This document covers the majority of aspects of Biomass Energy. These five chapters are illustrated by series of tutorials that can help the reader better understand the course. The writing of this book was drawn from the existing documentation at the level of all libraries and Internet sites.
Der Hauptzweck dieser Arbeit besteht darin, die Leistung von VAWT zu verbessern, was Effizienz und Betriebsbereich einschließt. Es wurde eine experimentelle Studie für verschiedene Schaufelformen durchgeführt. Es wurden verschiedene Werte für TSR(?), Leistungskoeffizient (Cp) und Turbinendrehzahlverhältnis (Vt) mit Hilfe von Messinstrumenten und mathematischen Formeln ermittelt. Darüber hinaus wurden die Leistungen von sieben Rotoren verglichen und die Ergebnisse miteinander verglichen, um das beste Modell zu validieren. DerLeistungskoeffizient (Cp) wurde als Funktion der Turbinendrehzahl ermittelt, um das beste Profil zu bestimmen, das in der Darrius-Turbine verwendet werden kann. Esist zu hoffen, dass diese Art von Turbine in Zukunft wirtschaftlich lebensfähig und wettbewerbsfähig gegenüber anderen Arten der Energieumwandlung ist, da sie einfach zu warten und zuinstallieren ist.
Lo scopo principale di questo lavoro è quello di migliorare le prestazioni dei VAWT, tra cui l'efficienza e la gamma di funzionamento. È stato condotto uno studio sperimentale su diverse forme di pale. È stato studiato per ottenere diversi valori di TSR(?), coefficiente di potenza (Cp) e rapporto di velocità della turbina (Vt) utilizzando strumenti di misura e formulazioni matematiche. Inoltre, le prestazioni di sette rotori sono state confrontate e identificate tra i loro risultati per convalidare il modello migliore. Ilcoefficiente di potenza (Cp) è stato ottenuto in funzione della velocità della turbina, al fine di determinare il miglior profilo aerodinamico che può essere utilizzato nella turbina Darrius. Si spera che in futuro questo tipo di turbina sia economicamente conveniente e competitivo rispetto ad altri tipi di trasformazione dell'energia, grazie alla sua facilità di manutenzione e installazione.
The main purpose of this work is to enhance the performance of VAWT which includes efficiency and range of operation. An experimental study for different blade shapes was carried out. It has been investigated to obtain different values of TSR(?), power coefficient(Cp), and turbine speed ratio(Vt) using measurement instruments and mathematical formulations. Furthermore, seven rotors' performance has been compared and identified between their results to validate the best model. Power coefficient (Cp) obtained as a function of the turbine speed in order to determine the best sectional airfoil that can be used in the Darrius turbine. It is hoped that in the future this type of turbine are economically viable and competitive opposite to other types of energy transformation, because of its easy maintenance and installation.
This work is done to propose a model sufficient to predict in different contexts of the beam and diffuse solar radiation on a horizontal area. This is very important for a variety of applications of solar energy conversion. About this research, we added the air pollution and weather thus as CO, CO2, CH4, temperature and relative humidity. Indeed, the lack of data before; we will not know what the solar potential will be before to ensure such feasibility or function. After this study, the development of a suitable model for the Biskra site for five angles of inclination, of any solar project was made through an experimental study. The experimental results show that the values obtained to give a good estimate of the solar radiation and are in good agreement with those given by the elaborate model which is in agreement with that of Perrin de Brichambaut, also more particularly for an incident on an inclined plane.
