The marriage records give the names and ages of the bride and groom, the occupation of the groom, race and marital status where applicable, the nativity if outside Gloucester County, the names of the parents, and often the maiden name of the mother, the date and the place the ceremony took place and the name of the pastor who performed it. A full-name index adds to the value of this work.
