John Connor has been writing poetry for most of his adult life and over the past 35 years has built up an enormous collection of inspirational poems. When his parents passed away, he noticed that something about his poetry had changed. This change led to John's poetry helping to heal and console hundreds of thousands of broken hearts and grieving families all over the world. This, John's second collection, contains over 40 poems, each in John's simple and heartfelt style. Artist Jolanta Dziok has created 10 beautiful illustrations to accompany the poems. John is donating 10% of the proceeds of this book to charity.
Fourteen-year-old Meg Rowlands is angry. A new foster child has arrived after her mum promised no more. Mirabel is no ordinary child, but no one other than Meg seems able to see it. Suddenly time isn't working properly ... someone seems to be stealing memories. Even Meg doesn't realise the full horror until her mum disappears. She is left with Mirabel and her best friend, Will, and together they must find the courage to fight back before everything they hold dear is lost forever.Inspired by the dramatic north east coast of England and the true story of a foster child who arrived at midnight, Janet Blackwell weaves a storyteller's magic.
