This book I have been writing for some time. It is a collection of short stories, most factual, some fictitious. They are I hope funny and entertaining, interspersed with a few to shock or leave you wondering, hence the sweet and sour analogy. I trust you will enjoy them and come back for seconds. I was encouraged by my friends to release this, as most of them had read my poetry books, 'Poetry from a Tangled mind' and 'Poetry from a Thoughtful mind' and enjoyed them immensely, thankfully. All I can say is that they are gluttons for punishment! Please sit somewhere comfortable and tuck in and enjoy the feast. George Howard
This is a compilation of short stories and poetry, specifically aimed at people coming into consciousness.I have once again tried to keep a mix of humour and not so humorous.People who are just beginning to realise what's happening as well as people who are 'awake', will I hope enjoy this book.David Icke is a hero of mine, and he is at last beginning to get the respect and recognition he deserves. He has been trying to wake people up for years.More power to 'The People's Voice', and I hope you enjoy.

This is a revision of my first book. I wanted it to be a smaller, handier book to hold and carry (pocket-sized). It's full of Yorkshire humor and I hope this gives a respite from the serious poems. Above all I hope you like it and thanks to all my friends who supported me whilst writing it.

After providing a history of the "St. Thomas Christians," the Orthodox Christians of India, up until the mid-nineteenth century, Howard presents English translations of six different anaphorae in use in Christendom: namely, those of St. James, St. Peter, The Twelve Apostles, Mar Dionysius Barsalibi, Mar Xystus, and Mar Evannis.
Lady Jane Grey, And Her Times is a historical book written by George Howard. The book provides a detailed account of the life and times of Lady Jane Grey, who was the Queen of England for only nine days in 1553. The book explores the political and religious turmoil of the Tudor era, which led to Lady Jane's brief reign and eventual execution. The author delves into Lady Jane's early life, her education, and her marriage to Guildford Dudley. The book also examines the political machinations that led to Lady Jane's ascension to the throne and the subsequent rebellion against her. George Howard provides a vivid description of the key players of the time, including Queen Mary I, Lady Jane's cousin and successor, and the powerful Duke of Northumberland, who orchestrated Lady Jane's rise to power. The book also explores the religious tensions of the time, including Lady Jane's Protestant faith and the Catholicism of Queen Mary. The author provides a nuanced understanding of the religious and political forces that shaped Lady Jane's life and reign. Overall, Lady Jane Grey, And Her Times is a comprehensive and engaging historical account that sheds light on one of the most fascinating and tragic figures of Tudor England. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
For centuries the Jewish community in Europe possessed a copy of Matthew in the Hebrew language. The Jews' use of this document during the Middle Ages is imperfectly known. Occasionally excerpts from it appeared in polemical writings against Christianity.
