The dream that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. envisioned is in jeopardy of fading if we neglect to keep his dream alive. We can all make this country a place where each individual lends a hand by caring and respecting each other. I can't help telling the story as I saw it and the effects it had on me. First, as a grandfather, I certainly want to see my grandchildren treated equally when they enter the big world for survival. I am thankful that I still fight for equality; yet, my attitude has changed. Next, I write in reference to my careers in the military and education. One motto that has always proved true was my ability to keep a positive song or songs in my heart. Finally, I touch on the many humorous yet true stories during my careers that bring laughter to my heart even now. There is so much joy as I look back at the endless struggles and successes that helped me overcome.

Music has become a dominant force in today's world. The biggest problem with music today is the presence of unseen evil forces (Satan and his evil angels). Perhaps we can glance at this pandemonium in many of our larger churches. We know Satan is present in worldly music due to the life styles of those involved in the industry. However, the reason for this book is to make us aware of how that O serpent is deeply involved in church music. Satanic led individuals are glad to lower the standards of God through music and other devices. I realize many ministers and church members will disagree with what I have written, but I invite each individual to pray, seek the Lord and I believe God above will give you and I answers. My experiences have allowed me to know that God is not contented with the music used in several of our churches today. There are sincere individuals who are highly educated and represent the small percentage who are endeavoring to bring this worldly style of music in to the SDA church and other churches; however, mistakes such as these have been made in biblical times. We are rapidly falling into the same predicaments as Israel when they decided to choose an earthly king over the King of kings. Stop look and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to your hearts as He has spoken to mine's. I am sure it is real and I see so many of my friends and fellow saints caught up in this pandemonium. Verify what the Bible, history and science has to say and with a prayerful mind seek the Lord while He may be found.

Be careful how you treat your fellowman. You never know how those you step on going up maybe the same ones you meet going down. As I look at American History, our struggle and the Civil Right Movement I can't help thinking about the little things the media, presidents, members of Congress, governors, law enforcement, military, racist citizens and others in government just did not understand how to respect people of color and other nationalities. African Americans and others citizens have been cheated by the media's negligence to give us all the facts surrounding the struggle and other facets of American History. Let us not tell our children that we marched from this city to that city without explaining what took place in between and before we reached this stage of our struggle. This book has short stories and poems that tell about our lamentations. Yes, our cries and the cries of others need to be heard and our children need to learn how to conduct themselves in a way that guides to success rather than jails and institutions that incarcerate.

Living in this world has enabled me to see good and bad times, experience joy, racism, pain, trials, tribulations, and rebirth. I have been blessed to delve into and scrutinize history along with the Bible. The Lord above has given me the desire to see the need for careful study of the Bible and the willingness to share with anyone that loves the Christian life or wants to get prepared for Jesus' Second Coming when the last trumpet sounds. I love to compare history with the Bible. It's exciting and no man can truly explain it without using world history. Included in the book is 'Kids Corner'. These chapters are stories for the children, so the youth can learn about readiness before the last trumpet sounds. One day soon, the last trumpet will sound and at that very moment many will be joyful; yet, so many will be destroyed by the brightness of His coming as foretold in 2 Thessalonians 2: 8. I owe the King of kings so much and this is my way of expressing my thanks for all his bountiful blessings.
