This book on English passenger arrivals to ports along the eastern seaboard during the years immediately preceding Independence presents a list of about 6,000 names copied from Treasury Records in the Public Record Office in London. For each passenger the following information is given: age, occupation, place of origin, name of ship, destination, and reason for emigration. These new immigrants were Georgia; North & South Carolina, Virginia; Maryland; Pennstlvania; New York, Massechuttes, Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Vincients, Jamacia, Antigua, Montreal, Quebec, Dominica, Fort Chamberland, St. Christophers, Tobago, Nevis, Greneda, and Bermuda.
