This volume provides an overview of the landforms of Namibia. It first offers a general introduction to the geology, climate and climate history of the country, and then presents a series of case studies of intriguing landform sites.

As coastal populations burgeon, problems of erosion, pollution and coastal change are becoming ever more serious. This work discusses the causes of, and possible solutions to, some of the problems at the coast, against a background of the natural geomorphological and ecological workings of coastal environments.
