Introspection is meaningless if there is no insight gained. This short collection of fifty poems by first-time author and long-time overthinker Henry Arguelles chronicles his search for meaning and insight through love and heartbreak, but also parenting, religion, and mortality. Mostly through heartbreak and failed relationships, though. As an added bonus: some of the poems actually rhyme! Three of the poems can be found on my Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages, if you'd like a sample of what's inside: https: //twitter.com/henry_arguelles https: //instagram.com/henry.arguelles/ https: //www.facebook.com/henry.arguelles.001
Just putting these 110 poems of varying lengths and topics out there. Hopefully someone will read this book...
I'll be honest: these are not the greatest poems ever written. In fact, they're not very poetic. They're just me, working through some thoughts and feelings, making some realizations, realizing that others might be feeling the way I did (do), and wanting to reach out to anyone that might need some solidarity.
