Jan Stage (1937-2003) var en dansk forfatter, digter og journalist. I sin karriere udgav han både skøn- og faglitteratur foruden sin store journalistiske produktion. Jan Stage tilbragte en længere årrække på Cuba og i Mellemamerika. Fra 1967 var han Mellemamerika-korrespondent for dagbladet "Information". Udover Information skrev Jan Stage også for "Land og Folk", "Ekstra Bladet", "Politiken" og "Lettre Internationale" (tysk udgave). Jan Stage er særlig kendt for sit politiske engagement og sine mange reportager fra verdens krigszoner. Jan Stage modtog i en række priser og legater blandt andet Publicist Prisen (1994), Den Berlingske Fonds Journalistpris (1995) og Drassows Legat (1997)
