An outline of the Old Testament Prophets discussed in historical order. Much stress is laid on the historical situation surrounding Israel, Judah, and their prophets. This outline is designed to be introductory and survey in nature.

The story of the monarchy of ancient Israel begins with the Books of Samuel and continues with the Books of Kings and Chronicles. Many of these stories overlap and are often quite different. In the past it has been customary to create a comparison with side by side texts. This has served the purpose, but I believe that an integrated text with different fonts and colors allows the reader to see the continuous whole along with the differences. Footnotes regarding the Hebrew text are available for those who can take advantage of them.
