Social scientists are skilled at explaining and understanding how the world works. History is used to understand the mechanism of power, its conquest and its loss. Geography, whether human, physical or economic, allows us to recognize realities in a precise space at a precise moment in time. Geography is used to win wars, to ensure food self-sufficiency, to take advantage of weather and climate conditions to adapt the community context, to ensure sustainable development and to keep power.The political geography of Turkey manifests itself in the description, observation and reflective analysis of past events, phenomena and contexts serving the memory and thinking of men in their management of the present.
To escape cultural alienation, economically and militarily weak communities try to protect their identity, values and assets. The enhancement of their identity heritage starts with the safeguarding of their community language since language is an important pillar in the construction of identity. Language policy is one of the competences of the state. It explains the relationship between languages and communities and focuses on the status of languages in public and private teaching/learning, usage, socio-cultural representations and the training of language teachers.
Competitive teaching takes into consideration a precise objective to meet a precise need for a precise period of time. In order to accomplish their mission, those in charge mainly mobilize human resources and strategies for the transfer and construction of academic and formative knowledge. In the course of my multiple classroom observations and field research, I have very often witnessed difficult moments experienced by trainers, teachers and learners in different disciplines, levels and contexts. This is why, thanks to my experience and my various researches and based on real, observed and very frequent difficulties, I propose strategies and practices that are thoughtful, verified, successful and feasible in any space and socio-cultural context. They are concerned with teaching/learning and training in scientific, linguistic and general culture disciplines.
