'Blackstone - Rising From the Ashes' is what I call a 'paranormal love story.' It involves two people who fall in love, even though they have have different philosophical and spiritual beliefs. The road is rocky and filled with bumps and grinds that will eventually lead to some very life changing experiences. The story begins in the big city and ends in the small town of Blackstone. In Blackstone a Pandora's box is opened, and things are never the same after that. There is a stirring in the air. A shadow. A full moon. Then the curtain between now and eternity is torn open. The phoenix is consumed - the phoenix rises. Its ashes lay scattered.

This book is the third in a series of Blackstone novels dealing with the adventures of one Simon Peterson and his late wife Julia. In this story Blackstone comes face to face with a problem from their own history. Namely, who owns the land they reside on. Also, when a wrong has taken place, who is responsible for mending the wrong. These ideas are addressed in this novel. The world of the paranormal is wide open and things are not always as they seem. 'Laughing At the Gods' was originally written in 1991, re-edited for this publication. Following some of the beat poets of the early sixties, I ventured into my own world of words and images to create what was to become this book. I shaved away some of the awful wording in the original and replaced it was what I hope is better grammar and more polished wording. There are 54 poems in this book, and each has its own sense of being. I address both philosophical and spiritual questions but leave plenty for the reader to ponder.

Time Pieces is a compilation of some of my favorite poems that I have written over the years. The poems go back to 1973 to present and include many of my epic sized poems, along with some of my shorter and more personal poems. This includes 30 poems and covers a lifetime of writing.

This is a book of poetry that documents my experiences with being homeless back in 2009-2010. For two years I lived either in the cab of my truck, or in homeless shelters in the area. For being a home body, this was a whole new experience for me. At the end of two years I had accumulated enough poems for a book. These are those poems.
