There is no force like success, and that is why the individual makes all effort to surround himself throughout life with the evidence of it; as of the individual, so should it be of the nation. -Marcus Garvey- Jamaican music, food and beaches are world renowned. What really make this county unique are its people. So, why are Jamaicans unique?

Multiple streams of income is no longer an option, it is a necessity. Entrepreneur must be a way of life for islanders and diasporans. No longer are companies hiring for 40 years. Flexibility is the new paradigm in the working world. In today's working world many companies are only employing part time or contracting the work. This edition will provide some guidelines on how to employ yourself when no one else will give you a job.

The Black diaspora refers to the communities throughout the world that are descended from the historic movement of peoples from Africa, predominantly to the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, among other areas around the globe. Jamaica's majority population is predominantly Black, so how does their presence impact their communities worldwide?

From a population of 2.5 million people, Jamaican athletes on the island and in the Diaspora have made their mark in the world. Some have represented the island, while others chose to represent their new place of residence. From the Olympics to other international athletic events, this edition highlights Jamaicans at home or abroad.

Throughout the Diaspora, Jamaicans are in the air. From fighting Jet planes during WW2 to breaking world records for flying solo, there is a Jamaican connection. In this edition, we will see Jamaicans in places that are soaring high.

There is a strong connection with ice hockey and Jamaicans.

Afro textured hair has the most styling options in comparison to other racial groups. This edition celebrates its uniqueness, which is a billion dollar industry. The goal is to tap this niche, which is in the hands of other ethnic groups that are using the African diaspora. One's value is not created by taking on the beauty standards of someone else. Let us highlight the diversity of Black Hair.

There are several varieties of cocoa. Most common to Jamaica is the variety known as Criollo.

The birthplace of reggae is Jamaica and it is the only Caribbean music that is played on every continent. However reggae music is not the only genre that was created by Jamaicans. This edition highlights and celebrates the other Jamaican music styles that Jamaican artists have made famous.

So, Black people can't skate? Of course, with the comment that Black people can't swim or Black people can't skate, what I or people who say this truly mean is that there is a dearth of Black people in those respective areas, not because of a lack of ability, but sometimes just no access, and no access due to a variety of reasons, the majority of which are not racial.

Good leaders are able to asses a situation and foreshadow its future. They take what is in front of them and create a blueprint that will enable them to stay relevant.
