It covers some of the Dutch families who settled in New Amsterdam (New York).Included in the research are the English, French and Scottish ancestors; the English ones arriving in early Virginia, the French ones arriving in New Amsterdam and the Scottish settling in New Jersey. These ancestors helped settle the areas they migrated to including Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas and Texas.Various ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and Civil War and these named along with records such as Revolutionary War pension applications, and wills.
