Alex learns through everyday objects like a mirror, magnifying glass, and even the pupil of an eye. Mom shows Alex her NYC photos while explaining key photography concepts like aperture, shutter speed, zoom, composition, and more.
Buster Brown Best Dog In Town, is the story of one very special Chesapeake Bay Retriever. After a surgery at age 11, followed by losing his very best friend two months later, Buster Brown found himself with a new sister and a new life. Buster Brown went back to basic obedience class for exercise and to bond with his new sister. He made lots of new friends and was encouraged to take his test to be certified as a Canine Good Citizen. At age 12, he also passed his test to become certified as a therapy dog and has spread his brand of sweetness and love to those he meets. He is 14 years young at the time of publishing and remains active as a therapy dog. This is his story. This book would be good for new readers since there is word repetition throughout; as well as children age 6 and under.
