Working as a PA for a low-budget B movie is semi-challenging for efficient and over-achieving Annie Foray. Robinson Chee expected a routine missing-person Seeking, a quick case to pay the bills so he can continue investigating the reports of the shining "angels" popping up around Santa Monica. When his Talent reveals not only the afterimage glow of more angels but a portal to another world, the routine case becomes a battle for life and death-his own, Annie's, Galen's, and the fate of an alien world.
