New technologies constitute a fundamental tool to advance the improvement of educational processes. So much so that information and communication technologies (ICT) have gained ground and, currently, have an increasing influence on the way of communicating, learning, and life. More and more institutions, schools, and educational entities are seeking to strengthen the relationship between traditional education and new information technologies.In addition to the above, higher education, in the contemporary world, has to respond to the demands demanded by society, the accelerated development of technological revolutions, and sustainability. In the first case, being a participant in the solutions to solve economic, social, and cultural problems by transforming academic practices and their professional training processes; In the second case, the permanent and accelerated change in scientific innovation requires it to incorporate hard and soft technologies into its teaching-learning practices, and, at the same time, generate new technologies in the different fields of knowledge it cultivates.
The advancement of information and communication technology in society has directly impacted education by developing distance educational programs and changing the pedagogical methods of learning. This study was carried out with MBA university students in a distance program. The sample included 12 students and the instruments selected to obtain the results were an electronic survey with surveymonkey.com software to collect demographic data from the participants and a semi-structured interview with open questions via Zoom. For the study, qualitative methodology was used with a descriptive phenomenological design; The description of the students' approaches and opinions were emphasized. The design used contributed to the knowledge of school realities; especially,to the experiences of the actors in the training process: in our particular case, universitystudents. The study allowed us to know how different factors or variables intervene thatare decisive in the quality of the program, such as the type of platform used by the ducational center, the experience and skills of the teachers; both with technology andwith this type of program in pedagogical use in the teaching-learning process.
