These writings reflect my feelings from 1990 to 1993 of lost freedom and loves; and how I dealt with my new world. I crawled inside my head and found someone that I forgot was there.
Tripping with Jim is a simple, honest story by a complex person. It's a life's journey of stupid decisions, and close calls, written with humor, insights, and never-ending optimism.Think of yourself as a hobo, and jump on the train of thought with Jim Adduci. You will go from state to state of mind. It will be fun, interesting, and thought provoking. Each trip is an experience in life. He will bring you to the places he's been, both physically and mentally, that made him who he is today, for better or worse.
The Camping Trip is about two boys, Dave and Billy, who travel with Dave's aunt and uncle to a New Hampshire cabin. Dave and Billy have been friends since they were 5 years old, and on this trip, they are allowed to go camping without adults by the river a mile from the cabin. While camping they run into a mysterious Indian, have some adventures and learn many life lessons. When they return to the cabin, there are a few more lessons to be learned from Uncle Ned. The Camping Trip teaches children many of life's lessons and how to deal with life's difficult situations. It was written to be read in one sitting, so find a comfortable, quiet spot, sit back and go on an adventure with Dave and Billy.
