I Hope It Snows for Oreo is a Christmas story told from the perspective of a little dog named Oreo. The story has beautiful images and conveys a sweet message of love and hope as the family prepares for the Christmas holiday, hoping it will snow.

Curiosity killed the cat. When I read that phrase, I didn't think that someone had gotten into trouble for asking the wrong question or found out something that they shouldn't have by asking too many questions. I wondered who Curiosity was and why did they kill the cat? Did they not like cats? Was it an accident or were they just bad pet owners? I knew there would be similar questions with other idioms and as I made a list, some of them jumped off the page with ideas about stories that were "wicked fun." What do a cat allergy and the bubonic plague have in common- the idiom "familiarity breeds contempt" may provide the answer. How did the ghosts of his family help a man survive a stroke? Perhaps there was a "method to his madness." How did the silver-like monster with a thousand legs and a poisonous scorpion tale that killed his grandfather and almost killed his father, help a young boy become a famous artist? I think he had the "benefit of the doubt." My new book IDIOMS takes these phrases which have been uttered thousands of times and transforms them into stories readers would never envision. The compelling characters and twist and turns within each story will send a chill down the reader's spine one minute, a tear down their cheeks the next, or make them smile and laugh out loud. Trust me, you will never think of these idioms the same way again!

Slowly, I Grow is the culmination of three years of thoughts, ideas, and emotions. Love, Beauty, Grief, Solace, Prayer, Healing, Awe, Anger, Anxiety, Despair, Depression, Hope, and Faith are all words that could be used to describe the mood of these poems. Questions about myself, the world, or why bad things happen to good people, were frequently asked, as I explored different ways to convey my feelings or thoughts. These moments of reflection often took place in nature as I find refuge in its beauty and its ability to allow my mind to find its spiritual roots. I hope you will find my journey reflects your journey at some point in your life, and you will come back to your favorites whenever you feel a reason to do so. I believe we share much more in common than we think.

"There can't be any more fires," Sean said as they drove down Davis Road toward the realtor's office. From the very first sentence of the book, the mood is set for my psychological thriller, "Litter." With each subsequent chapter, the tension increases due to the interactions between the neighbors and the environment in which they live. Augusta, Georgia, the setting for the book, and the fictional neighborhood Sycamore Springs is filled with wooded pristine beauty. But even within the Garden of Eden, there were snakes. Encounters with puss moths, black widows, poisonous snakes, alligators, and even an anaconda in the Phinizy Swamp Park are elements within the book that will keep you on edge. The secrets that each of the characters possesses are the psychological components that will keep you guessing along a path of many twists and turns within the story and are reflective of the title and the emotional baggage that we all carry. Litter was the recipient of the Georgia Independent Author of the Year Award for best horror/thriller in 2022 and the story has many layers resulting in an overpowering and emotional ending with one final plot twist that I promise, you will not see coming!

The last actions of their abusive father, give them the strength to escape, but Jules knows the police will blame his sister for everything that has happened and he couldn't allow that to occur. The bacterium from tubeworms has never been grown in a lab until Dr. Po was able to do it, and along with the Symbion molecule he developed, the science of molecular transition dynamics was born. From this science, the cure for cancer and other serious illnesses was created. Encouraged by his sister to help Dr. Po destroy these malformed creatures, Jules struggles with the evil nature of man because of the malicious world in which he and his sister lived for eighteen years. Through imagined conversations with C.S. Lewis, a writer he always admired, Jules navigates the moral challenges the faces every day, which are made even more complicated by visits from his dead father. The humans which have been transformed into Vahemics, need oxygen from the blood of others to survive. They have poisonous razor-sharp talons, but his sister tells Jules, "It's the Narcoleptans that are really scary which are more werewolf than human and have the ability to become invisible in nature!" Within the first four chapters, you will be pulled into the book by Jules who is narrating the events of the story, and once Jules awakens, by the actions that are taken by him, his sister, and Dr. Po. They are all flawed heroes and are compelling characters you will find yourself rooting for to "win" in their struggles and battles within themselves and with the dangers present in this new world. The action is non-stop, culminating in a powerful surprising, and stunning plot twist, which allows truths to be revealed, evil to be challenged, and our heroes to find some level of solace.

A beautiful and simply told story for early readers that shows how wonderful your life becomes by sharing it with a beloved animal. Young readers will enjoy watching Oreo on her travels around the neighborhood and will be delighted by the pictures that reflect the beauty of nature and of a loving and kind dog named Oreo!

A book for the young and young at heart about the joy and magic that exists between a dog and its human friend who have both gotten older. The story describes how Oreo has changed from a small puppy into her older age. Although she doesn't do all the same things anymore, her love for her owner never changes. An easy-to-read book for early readers, but all children will enjoy the story and vibrant pictures.
