"Thar she blows!" One of many iconic phrases from, Herman Melville's, American classic, Moby Dick. Whales and whaling became mankind's first, "oil boom". The great blow of breath that whales create breaking the ocean's surface was just as meaningful to whalers as gushers are to modern day drillers, money in the bank.
