Der Autor bewertet die Rolle der Afrikaner, insbesondere der frühen einheimischen afrikanischen Kirchenväter, in den folgenden Bereichen: Biblische Studien, christliche Theologie, kirchliche Lehren und die weltweite Verbreitung des Christentums. Das Ziel des Autors bei der Kontextualisierung und Entkolonialisierung der christlichen Religionswissenschaft von der westlichen Kultur und Bildungsmethodik ist es, das Fach zu einem Allheilmittel für die ganzheitlichen Bedürfnisse der Afrikaner zu machen. Schließlich weist der Autor darauf hin, dass die frühen Afrikaner seit den Anfängen des Christentums und seiner Studien eine wichtigere Rolle spielten als die frühen westlichen Missionare und Menschen anderer Rassen.

This book examines various Africentric methodologies that suggest how to contextualize Christian Religious Studies in Africa. Furthermore, it investigates the suggestive impacts of Africa and early Africans on Judaism, the bedrock of Christianity. The examination advocates that Christianity is not a foreign religion to Africa, and Africans were not latecomers to Christianity. The author assesses the roles of Africans, especially the early indigenous African Church fathers, in the following areas: Biblical studies, Christian Theology, Church doctrines, and the global spread of Christianity. The author's goal in contextualizing and decolonizing Christian Religious Studies from Western culture and educational methodologies is to make the subject matter a panacea for the holistic needs of Africans. Lastly, the author suggests that early Africans played more vital roles than early Western missionaries and people of other races in matters concerning Christianity and its studies since its inception.

This book provides an assessment of corruption within the leadership of Nigerian churches from 1995 to 2015. It reveals that corruption among church leaders in Nigeria is a result of neglecting certain important Africentric values that align with biblical teachings. Additionally, it highlights the negative impact of Eurocentric Christianity/Civilization. The author recommends several measures to address these issues and curb such abnormalities.

This book examines the arrival of the Sudan Interior Mission and Evangelical Church Winning All (SIM/ECWA) to Yagba Land in Africa. It investigates the positive and negative impacts of Western Christianity, particularly SIM/ECWA, on Yagba Traditional Marriage. The book supports the liberation of Yagba Christians from the colonization of Western Missionaries on marital issues. Lastly, the author suggests the common ground between Christianity and Yagba cultural practices regarding marriage.

The contemporary Church of Africa is plagued with a deviation from the legacies (i.e ¿Education¿ and ¿Professionalism¿) of the Early African Indigenous Church fathers; this consequently led to the contemporary diverse corruption on Church leadership in Africa. As a panacea, the author recommended that Church leaders in Africa should follow the legacies of the Early African indigenous church fathers. Africentric Approach to both Church leadership and theological Education in Africa was equally recommended.

The Africans, contextually the Church in Africa, are perplexed over the effects of Global Insecurities on the Church in Arica. It is a truism that the emergence of Covid¿19 pandemic, terrorism, conflict, border closures, economic crises, political uproar, Boko Haram Insurgency, the alarming rate of kidnappers, Fulani Herdsmen attack and so on, are the replete of the fact proving the security challenges in Africa which caused a declination in both the development of the African nations and the Church. This work is my own contribution as complimentary to the efforts of various scholars that might have written or would write on a similar subject. Afrocentric Christian approach was recommended by this author to ameliorate the negative effects of the insecurities on the church in Africa.
