The purpose of this book is to offer a learning guide to all those interested in developing applications with NFC technology in desktop and mobile environments. In such a way that they initially understand the concepts related to this technology and in turn can implement from scratch an application either on Windows or Android operating systems. NFC applications are endless and this book provides the foundation for those interested in implementing custom or generic solutions.
The purpose of this book is to teach the different unsupervised learning models, from their mathematical foundations to the implementation of codes in Python. The idea is to introduce the reader to the supervised learning models, to understand how they operate and to solve problems using these techniques. In the same way, short exercises are solved that can later be replicated in other scenarios. The solved exercises are described step by step, so that the reader can execute them and understand their partial results.
This book is designed for those who wish to enter the world of machine learning, i.e. beginner mode. Initially, data manipulation through dataframes in the Python programming language, embedded in the Jupyter-lab and Pandas framework, will be addressed. Then data will be extracted from csv files to manage them in dataframes. Indexing, selection and allocation, indexing in Pandas, tag-based selection, conditional selection, data allocation, summary functions, maps and grouping and sorting. Finally, we will proceed to program basic supervised learning models such as linear regression with a single variable, linear regression with multiple variables, saving and loading the training model, data management with dummy variables, separation of the training and test data sets.
