You can read the lovely words in this book by my friend Judith Page. Set no longer roams Egypt. Maybe it was Crowley that set him free by seeing Him as the emblem of the "Fire and Force" ShT. Or maybe it was my fellow Texan Robert E. Howard who used as a symbol of all things dark and mysterious that Conan fought against. Or maybe it was Kenneth Grant and Gregorious in 1955 who declared that Set-Typhon was the God of the Age. Or maybe it was Anton LaVey who said the Children of Set shall see a certain dark sun in the sky. Or maybe it was Michael a. Aquino who Received the word of Self-Creation Xeper from Set in 1975. Anyway He's back. And He is hated by the stupid death-worshippers that hated Him before, and He is Beloved by the Wise. He is the God of magicians and mad artists and (rather clearly in this slim book) great poets. If you have known Him long, you will love this book. If you have never met Him - I suspect you may have some interesting dreams soon. One may enjoy this book as you would any other book of poems. But if you really want to taste it - read it by candlelight on the night of the dark Moon. You may be surprised at Who comes to Visit after you blow out your candle and see the starlight streaming in your window. Judith Page is a strong and dark poet, whose words should be savoured. Or she is a mighty Sorceress whose words if read in the dark, to the Dark will Open a certain Door. For both readers of modern poetry and the friends of the God called the First Magician (Ur Heka) I recommend this Song. Don Webb -- Author of Overthrowing the Old Gods

"The visualizations here draw their imagery from classical grimoires and Qabalistic philosophy. Plus, they have a specific and useful goal. Each visualization takes you on a journey into the symbolic realm of an archangel, where you are introduced to the entity's sigils and symbols and other sacred imagery before encountering the archangel himself. Each visualization builds upon those before it, until the aspirant has been led through the seven circles of heaven and has established a personal link to the archangel that governs each one. At the end, the aspirant will have learned to recognize the images, seals and symbols they will encounter in the Solomonic and other advanced systems of angel summoning. Such guided visualizations are certainly absent from the medieval texts about angels. So, why should I urge anyone who wishes to work with angels - even Solomonic practitioners - to follow the instructions in this book? Simply put, this book is based upon the same principle I described above: safely establishing first contact. It accomplishes this without resort to the full-fledged summoning ceremonies intended to call the angel down to the physical plane - an advanced practice the grimoires tend to jump into without preamble. This book even includes simple rituals by which you can submit petitions to the archangels in times of need - and these rituals are not entirely removed from the methods of the grimoires. Therefore, working through the steps outlined in this book can serve as a wonderful bridge between "square one" and the fully adept practices of angelic summoning.": From Aaron Leitch's Preface

JUKE BOX BOOGIE, Issue No.1, takes us on an historic trip. The music styles in this book are: Rock n'roll, country music, blues, and gospel. The pages are richly documented. You'll discover the famous as well as the unknown artists who contributed to the sounds we all know and love today. We meet Freddie Burns, a former 1940s singer who was present at the beginning of country music and was there at the beginning of the career of Jimmie Rodgers. He rubbed shoulders with stars like Hank Williams, Bill Monroe and of course Elvis Presley. The well-known author/astrologer Paul F. Newman tells us the incredible story of Bill Haley's song 'Thirteen Women' on the A side, which was supposed to be the resounding hit...on the 'flip' side, yes, Rock Around The Clock! Blues and Gospel singers Kid Thomas and Mahalia Jackson remind us of the influence of black American music. There are great articles on country music with George Jones and Eddie Noack, and many others. We cover the preview of the national release of the Elvis stamp and other surprises. The name given to this book is a tribute to Freddie Burns, who at the age of 101 (now deceased) had no hesitation in answering my questions. Our interview was carried out via phone calls and later tapes. I thank Judith Page, Paul F. Newman, Eric Galland, Dave Stewart, Anne Marie Rycyne Didiot, Jacque Hulquist, Clementine Moriaty, and Michael McClellan for his technical advice. This is a great read... and more issues to follow.

Hello readers, and welcome to my new magazine. It's an exciting brand-new project that I hope you will enjoy. Writing about Rock'n'Roll through to Rockabilly and Country is not new to me however; my first article was an interview I did way back in 1996, later published in Crazy Bear magazine. From there I wrote for several others and finally ended up writing for the French magazine Rock & Roll Revue until it ceased operation. Instead of putting my pen and notebook back in the drawer, my partner Judith (Page) and I decided to create our own music journal. Our idea didn't stop at one magazine, but two versions; one in French and this one in English. The next thing I needed was a team - an Anglo-French one. For the French version I work with Eric Galland, and on the English side I work with Judith and Paul F Newman. My team have other lives; my partner Judith is an author of over a dozen books, and Paul is also a published author and an authority on cosmic astrology. This issue will include an interview with Freddie 'Boy' Burns, articles on singers: George Jones, Johnny Bond, Sheb Wooley, Kid Thomas and Eddie Noack. There's also a superb article on Mahalia Jackson by Judith, and another by Paul who will have his own unique page highlighting 'the story of a song'. It's an amazing experience having to write the majority of articles and editing a magazine in the two languages French and English. The common language in both is 'music', and inside these pages you can read about Country Music, Hillbilly, Blues, Country Boogie, Rock'n'Roll, and the joy of all...Rockabilly. The name for the magazine I've chosen is 'Juke Box Boogie', a tribute to my old friend Freddie Burns, who sadly died in 2015 at the age of 102. This first issue of Juke Box Boogie is dedicated to the late Bernard Boyat. We, the team salute you. You were a giant and the voice and life of Rock'n'Roll.

In ancient Egypt a precious papyrus reveals the hiding place of a legendary scroll. Prince Setne Khaemwaset uses its secrets to create the magical collar of the seven ankhs. The ankhs are stolen, and a riddle is set that will disclose their locations. Ramose, a Time Lord, travels to the twentieth century to locate the riddle. One piece is in the Cairo Museum, and the other belongs to Vida Richardson Hardy in England. Her granddaughter Meri copies this fragment, and discovers a recipe for a magic mirror. Kenneth, Vida's grandson, identifies the second half of the riddle in Cairo. On a visit to London, he and Meri de-code the riddle, and venture back in time to Ancient Egypt to search for the seven ankhs. But Kenneth realizes that Meri's in danger - with the aid of the magic mirror, he goes to the rescue - but will he be able to save her?

Olivia Robertson was an extraordinary woman, born as the Great War was coming into its final year. To know her was a Janus-like experience, where one was looking back into the Edwardian and Victorian times of her parents, and forward into a future to a world of modern architecture, equality for all, and the return of the Goddess and respect for the arts. In this centenary year of her birth, several of her friends look at her work, as an artist, author, and esotericist, as a tribute to this remarkable character of enormous intellect and wit. She was of the Anglo-Irish Ascendency, and loved to travel the world on a mission to restore the goddesses of antiquity to the modern age, to which she was totally committed. All who met her were touched by her unique gifts.
