"Nick and Aya Travel to Argentina" is a book about a four-year-old girl Aya and her ten-year- old brother Nick flying to Argentina from the United States together with their parents for vacation. The story takes its readers first to Buenos Aires followed by Bariloche, where the family then starts their adventure driving a rented minivan throughout Patagonia. Children learn the names of some of the existing plants, animals, fish, national landmarks and food items typical for Argentina. While following Nick and his sister Aya, the readers virtually visit a cave, a glacier, a bird sanctuary, lakes, streams, and mountains. They end their vacation at the Iguazu Falls and return home full of new impressions.
Nick and Aya Travel to Peru is the third book in the series Nick and Aya Travel the World. This time the ten year old brother and his four year old sister fly with their parents from Los Angeles to the Land of Incas. They arrive in Lima and spend first days exploring Peru's capital seeing cultural and historic places and trying local food along the way. They visit Nazca Lines prior to flying to the Amazon jungle, where the family goes to an animal rescue center and on a jungle tour. Before leaving Iquitos Nick and Aya see pink dolphins, hold monkeys, meet anaconda and tarantula, and observe various flora of the rainforest. They then fly to Cusco, go to the Sacred Valley, followed by the ruins of Machu Picchu and Maras salt ponds. Nick and Aya learn about different types of climate, multiple kinds of crops and varying cultures living within different regions of the same country. Prior to leaving Peru, the family drives to see Lake Titicaca, the largest lake in South America, and visit the Uro people living on floating islands made out of Totora Reed plants. They fly home full of new impressions thinking about wonderful gifts that Mother Nature gives people in different parts of the world.
Nick and Aya Travel to Belize is a book about a brother and sister exploring this small Central American country with their parents. The characters go to Mayan ruins, float through a jungle cave, and visit a howler monkey sanctuary and green iguana reserve on the mainland. They also explore multiple Belizean islands called cays, where all family members engage in various activities. These include going to a banana farm, riding a water taxi, collecting conch shells, snorkeling, and fly fishing, all the while learning about the ecosystem of the Belizean barrier reef and enjoying local foods.
