Author's Note: COYOTE is based on the real events of the morning I learned of my brother Chase's unexpected death - a morning when I actually saw and rode with a coyote - then returned home to learn that Chase was gone. Retold through the eyes of a child, COYOTE is a gentle and lyrical picture book dealing with the subject of loss. It is my hope that COYOTE will help children talk about loss and to show how art can be used to help heal the hurt of losing someone you love. This is my story of a once in a lifetime trip. After years of planning, the adventure can finally start, two ordinary Brits on a road trip, coast to coast, across the USA. I go on this journey with G, my wife of 30 years.We travel across the continental USA and include the routes we took and places we visited. I took inspiration from "Travels with Charley" by John Steinbeck, a favourite of mine.The story covers our travels from the east coast, travelling through 15 states, covering over 6,000 miles. Along the way we stop at world famous attractions such as Graceland, home of The King, Elvis Presley.Some parts of this vast country seem to have hardly changed since the first emigrants arrived. While some of the cities and towns have seen better days. Some of the places we visit are beautiful, some are extremely dangerous. Emotional, exciting and sometimes shocking.See y'all down the road!

Design and Manufacture of Structural Composites provides an overview of the main manufacturing challenges encountered when processing fibre reinforced composite materials. Composites are unique in that the material is created at the same time as the structure, forming a very close link between the constituents, the manufacturing process and the resulting mechanical performance.
