The working day of less than thirty days, affiliation to the Health System and salary lower than the Minimum Legal Monthly Wage in Force, are the characteristics of a Part-Time Worker, a figure which has taken a great relevance in the current labor environment in Colombia, reason for which the present research determines the legal development regarding the same, describing the legislative progress and identifying the relevant milestones in the Colombian legislation by means of a legal analysis. An exploratory methodology is used, the purpose of which is to highlight fundamental aspects of the subject and to use a qualitative/ descriptive model.

La jornada laboral inferior a treinta días, afiliación al Régimen de Salud y salario inferioral Salario Mínimo Mensual Legal Vigente, son las características de un Trabajador de Tiempo Parcial, figura la cual ha tomado una gran relevancia en el ámbito laboral actual en Colombia, razón por la cual la presente investigación determina el desarrollo jurídico frente al mismo, describiendo el avance legislativo e identificando los hitos relevantes en la legislación colombiana por medio de un análisis jurídico. Se utiliza una metodología de tipo exploratorio, cuyo propósito es destacar aspectos fundamentales del tema y utilizar un modelo cualitativo/ descriptivo.
