SHUNNED by her Pride, Shyenne de la Angelino, a Native American Were bobcat and witch, tries to find a safe place in the world. But she lands in the middle of an investigation involving missing Were adolescents. Working with 3-D Investigations, Shy must find the witches responsible, before other children disappear. As the investigation continues, she faces the realization that witches are using Weres in grisly spell experimentation. Her allegiances to each are truly tested as she deals with prejudices from both facets of her life. Shyenne grew up in her paternal grandfather's Were Pride. She and her twin sister, Shaylenne, faced constant danger within the Pride. Her maternal uncle ensured her magical education as soon as she demonstrated magical promise. Shyenne struggles to overcome the abuses of her childhood, the prejudice she experienced and develop new relationships, meanwhile balancing her magic, animalism and Native American beliefs.Relying on her magic and her budding investigative skills. Shyenne is determined to protect those in need while finding the witches responsible for the missing Weres. The motive behind the disappearances merely adds more fuel to the fire between the two races.
This poetry is inspired by life events with a strong emphasis on listening to nature while making important decisions and finding the strength to become an independent, self assured woman in today's world. The pictures offer a focus for contemplation of the written word. Follow me through my journey of love, love lost, self discovery, and realization, that ultimately, nature will provide answers and comforts throughout life's experiences.
